Jen Denney, Founder and Principal

Jen believes that your home reflects your dreams.  When you love your home, you can bring more power to every area of your life and fuel your dreams.  An organized space allows creativity and relaxation.  

Jen has managed literally thousands of detailed projects as an Senior Event Designer at the largest catering company in Washington DC and most recently as a successful real estate agent in Anne Arundel County.  

She is gifted at helping clients make sometimes difficult decisions that bring more joy, happiness and enjoyment to their lives.  

She is obsessed with making a house a home and Chesapeake hospitality.  This can be seen in Jen’s love of design, vision in renovation, and passion for entertaining. 

If you follow her @jendenneyathome, you will also see that she loves promoting the #liveLOVEannapolis lifestyle, and can often be found out on the water with her husband Colin, or cheering on her three sons from the sidelines of football and lacrosse fields. 

Krista McNamara, Lead Organizer

Often called Superwoman, Krista exudes a positive 'can-do' attitude. Supremely organized in her own home, Krista relishes helping others to simplify their lives through organization. 

Krista started her career in Early Childhood Education, where she believed that an organized physical space was directly related to students’ ability to thrive academically, socially, and creatively.  She later combined her love of teaching young children with her skill of home organizing to provide daycare in her own home.  

Krista is the Lead Organizer at A Created Home and has earned the title for her calmness in the face of chaos. She is able to enter any situation, devise a plan and system for its organization, and diligently get to work bringing it to realization.  

Krista is an avid DIYer who often can be found planning a new project or adventuring with her husband and 3 children.  She enjoys running, skiing, visiting the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
